Bob Fill of BFR Chassis is the man who builds the foundations for our race cars, the chassis. After 1996, our 1st season in the Late Model division at Thompson, we decided that we'd had enough. The car we had was literally out to lunch, no matter what we did we could not make it work in the corners. We had been nothing better than a 15th place car that season & were frustrated. At the last race of that season a bonehead move was made by a fellow competitor who was involved in an earlier wreck and several laps down. This guy dove into turn  3 & put us 3 wide and caused a wreck in which our chassis suffered extensive damage. The car that caused the wreck was built by Bob Fill & was a top 3 car every race along with several others that wore the BFR logo. We decided right then & there that we wanted a BFR chassis. We called Bob later that month and he took a ride out to assess the damage on our car. He decided it could be saved. We sent it to Bob that winter & he clipped the chassis front and rear, put a new body on it & set the suspension. We took that car to the 1st practice at Thompson the following season & were the fastest Late Model there all day on the stop watch & the car felt like going from an old pick-up truck to a Cadillac. Unfortunately luck wasn't with us most of that season but when we ran we were in the front. We've been with Bob ever since & have come a long way with his chassis & technical support both at the track and in the shop.
